Account Deletion
- Provider:

- Website:

Overview
This page explains how to ask Pronestia LLC to delete your Pronestia account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to accounts created in the Pronestia app for Android and on the web at app.pronestia.com.
You do not need to install the app, keep it installed, or sign in to submit a request.
1. How to Submit a Deletion Request
Email privacy@pronestia.com, preferably from the email address associated with your Pronestia account, and include:
- A subject line such as “Account deletion request”;
- The email address your account uses, if you are writing from a different address;
- Whether you want your entire account deleted, or only specific data deleted while keeping your account (see Section 5).
If you no longer control the email address on your account, say so in your request — we can verify your identity by other means.
2. Identity Verification
We verify every request before acting on it so that someone else cannot delete your account. We typically match the details in your request against information we already hold and confirm the request through the account’s email address. For some requests we may ask for additional proof. We may decline a request we cannot reasonably verify.
Verification happens inside the processing timeline below — it does not restart the clock.
3. Processing Timeline
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and normally complete verified deletion requests within 30 calendar days of receipt. If additional time is required for identity verification, workspace ownership, security, or legal obligations, we will notify you. Requests will be completed within applicable legal deadlines.
4. What Is Deleted, and What Happens to Workspaces
Your Account
Deleting your account removes:
- Your Pronestia profile — name, email address, and sign-in identities (including social sign-ins);
- Your authentication account with our sign-in provider;
- Your membership and access in every workspace you belong to;
- Personal identifiers linked to your activity in our services.
Workspaces You Belong To
A Pronestia account is personal to you. A workspace (organization) belongs to the business that operates it and holds that business’s construction records. When you request account deletion, we handle each workspace you belong to individually:
- Another Owner exists. Your account is deleted; the workspace and its data are not affected.
- You are the only Owner and other members remain. We will contact you to choose between transferring ownership to another active member and then deleting your account, or deleting the workspace as well — which cancels its subscriptions and ends every member’s access.
- You are the workspace’s only member. The workspace is scheduled for deletion as part of your request.
- You are a member of a workspace owned by someone else. We remove your access and your personal identifiers. Business records that belong to the organization — project history, approvals, signed documents, and audit trails — remain under that organization’s control; Pronestia processes them on the organization’s behalf (see Section 15 of our Privacy Policy).
When a workspace is deleted, access ends immediately, its subscriptions are canceled, and the workspace is scheduled for deletion with a 14-day recovery window during which support can undo an accidental deletion. Final removal completes within the processing timeline above.
5. Deleting Specific Data Without Closing Your Account
You can ask us to delete specific data — for example uploaded files, photos, or profile details — without closing your account. Use the same email process (Section 1) and describe the data you want removed; we will confirm what we can delete and apply the same verification, timeline, and retention rules as full account deletion.
6. What We Keep, and for How Long
Some records are retained after account deletion, only where a specific carve-out applies:
- Billing and transaction records — retained for up to seven years after the transaction, as required by tax and accounting law;
- Legal records — information subject to a specific legal hold, dispute, or regulatory obligation, retained only until that obligation ends;
- Your deletion request itself — a record of the request and how we fulfilled it, retained for three years to demonstrate compliance;
- Organization-controlled records — business records in workspaces you belonged to but did not own (Section 4), retained for as long as that organization keeps its workspace;
- Backups — residual copies may persist in encrypted database backups for up to 35 days, after which they expire automatically and are unrecoverable.
Where a record must be kept but no longer needs to identify you, we anonymize it rather than retain your identifiers.
